My friend, Older Mum is running a fab meme / linky called #Oneweek - whereby, every day, for one whole week each season, she draws together posts that reflect that particular time of year. She doesn't mind if they're photos, poems, words or any combination. I've put all mine into one. Things can be a bit bleak on the coast presently, but colour can be found.
Autumn:
Hey lovely lady! These photos are fab! I think my favourite ones are the first two - the colours are gorgeous - I love the rain on the leaves, and how sparse the branches on that tree are becoming. The pink and yellow leaves contrast really nicely together. Good to see your boys lent a helping hand! So glad you joined in! X.
ReplyDeletePs. you can find the linky on the post - it's under the badge code at the bottom - there are others linked up now so hopefully you'll find it with no bother :o).
It's a bit of a struggle round here tbh - but it's there if you keep your eyes open. Your posts and the others are simply stunning, spiffing stuff! X
ReplyDeleteGorgeous photos. I especially love the first one.
ReplyDeleteThank you x
DeleteLovely photos! I love photos of leaves at this time of year. Really like your last photo too, that looks like the sort of lane I would like to wander down.
ReplyDeleteThank you - that's our only bit of country and it's part of our school run!
DeleteI love all the golden leaves around at the moment (like the tree in your photos). Yesterday as I was driving along I saw a spectacular tree just past Clapham Common and pointed it out - to myself!!
ReplyDeleteI bet you could take some lovely, gusty, spray-filled photos of the sea at the moment. Did you get mist this morning?
Why does that not surprise me about you? Brilliant, but nothing'll beat losing your son in the cinema coz Daniel Craig was on! The sea just looks bleak without the wind, but there will be some great ones that my eldest says look like fireworks. No mist today x
Deletelove the glider....how amazing to see all the colours from so high up! fab pics x
ReplyDeleteI was in two minds about putting this one in - but it stood out so much against the grey, it kind of seems relevant.
DeleteBeautiful photos! I especially like the read leaves with the drops of water and the shiny, deep green holy.
ReplyDeleteThank you x
DeleteLovely collection of autumn photos - really like the top one and the close up of the glossy holly leaves x
ReplyDeleteThey don't compare to yours, but thank you!
DeleteAutumn by the coast must be different I imagine? Hasten to add, I don't think I've ever been to the British coastline in the Autumn. I love the last pic, look at that tree curling out of the ground, and that long path is perfect for an autumnal walk.x
ReplyDeleteWe walk along it on the way to school avoiding the horse dung, making up rhymes like gooey horsey pooey. You've got it all to come!
DeleteGreat pictures, leaves at this time of year are just so stunning, the red of your first picture moving to the yellows of the next are so yummy. Lovely pictures.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much.
DeleteOh you've made me want to participate in this. I have some gorgeous Autumn snaps.
ReplyDeleteYou've both shown FAB photos.
Liska x
It's never too late!

ReplyDeleteThank you. It's such a great theme.
