I wrote recently about the Road to Ruin = Lycra - re my habitual morning latte, referring to an article about how it can mean an increase in weight of a good 10 1bs over a year and how much of this can go unnoticed because of the abundance of lycra in our clothing today.
As an aside I mentioned how, over the same said space of time, this sanity saving ritual could account for quite a bit of my overdraft, and this actually came as quite a bit of a shock. It proved to be a good reality check though because it meant I have immediately cut right back on them.
It's stupid, I know, but I'd never thought to ask myself before!
Here is an interesting
Infographic however - which actually does the deed and asks how much we're spending on our habits. Just click on the link at the bottom and it guides you through. Fortunately / unfortunately, copious coffees and daily newspapers aren't included, but you can add in anything you're guilty of to see where you can save some dosh. But be warned - be sure you're sitting down before totalling!
